An electric unicycle, an endless procedurally generated German city, and a police force that chases you for the crime of riding it. Score grows with the danger — the closer the patrol cars, the more points you get.

In Germany an electric unicycle is a motor vehicle that cannot be made legal. It has no handlebar, so it is not a Elektrokleinstfahrzeug like an e-scooter; it gets no type approval (§ 19 StVZO), so no insurer will cover it — and riding without insurance is not a fine, it is a criminal offence (§ 6 PflVG).
Thousands of people ride EUCs in Germany anyway: to work, to the shops, for fun. Neighbouring countries such as France and Belgium simply put the monowheel next to the e-scooter and regulated it. Germany forgot it.
This game exists to point at that gap. If you want to do more than outrun pixel police: Electric Empire, the Bundesverband Elektrokleinstfahrzeuge e.V., is the association lobbying for the legalisation of all light electric vehicles in Germany, the EUC included. We are not affiliated with them — we just think their work deserves attention.
In the game the gap can be closed: a million euros in the garage lobbies the legalisation through, and the police are gone for good.
A 3–8 minute run, one thumb on the speed, one thumb on the map.
Every run generates a fresh German town: grid suburbs, old-town lanes, arterials, rivers and forests, footpaths through dead ends. It never ends and never repeats.
Patrol cars see you in a cone, radio every car nearby and route through the streets after you. Fast on the boulevards, slow in the lanes — and they cannot take footpaths.
Points flow while you ride, faster near the police and tripled during a chase. Shake them off for a bonus. Playing it safe is the one thing that does not score.
Speed eats the battery; empty means crawling. Charging stations refill you — stop and wait while the police roam, or skim through at speed for a few percent.
Pick up parcels, beat the timer, earn money. Spend it on your wheel: top speed, acceleration, battery, charging speed, handling and suspension, ten levels each. 23 achievements pay too.

A patrol car's field of view, a charging station, a parcel to deliver.

A chase: twelve cars after you, the multiplier climbing.

Caught — with the real charge you would face.

The garage: six stats, ten levels each — and the law.
Designed for a phone held in one or two hands, portrait or landscape. Sides can be mirrored for left-handed play.
Left thumb. Drag up to go faster, down to slow. It sticks where you leave it; double-tap for an emergency stop. The bright fill shows the speed you actually have — bends and small streets cost speed.
Right thumb. The wheel follows the road on its own; the next junction is always marked. Swipe towards the exit you want and the marker moves there. Swipe back to turn around at the junction.
One button: stop and turn around right now. The way out when a patrol car appears at the end of the street.
